OctoBoo is upon us! In this first week of the most wonderful time of the year, we’re enjoying a little ‘Hocus Pocus’. The Sanderson Sisters have cast a spell over the hearts and minds of millions. Played by Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy, they’re gleefully evil but a tad bit ignorant.

After years of waiting, Disney finally made a sequel to this Halloween classic. Mike, Pat, Joel and Josh are hopping on their respective brooms and heading into the night to discuss if it was worth the wait.

Is there still magic in that old vacuum cleaner? Will Billy be back? Why Walgreens and no CVS? This OctoBoo is off to a scary start with these witchy women. Toss all that in, along with questions like “Who remembers “Weak” by SWV? _{(I’ve watched the vid, and still have no recollection of this – Mike)} Does “Tanga” by Prudencio Mario Bauzá Cárdenas make you want to dance? (Yes.) and what the heck was “Weinerville”?

Listener Nikki suggested we talk about the 1999 teen classic, ‘Cruel Intentions’ and compare it to the brand new release from Netflix, ‘Do Revenge’. We’re coming out from hiding under the table, as the spiders are finally going away, to discuss these rich kid revenge stories. We couldn’t say no when we realized that Sarah Michelle Gellar couldn’t say no and was in both projects. Somebody is going to pay for the things we say in this show. Let’s just hope that we don’t end up the same way as Sebastian and try and stop a speeding car with our face.
